Reflection Note
Hello everyone!
The ending of the semester is coming,and I'd like to share with you some points about our course of Academic Writing.
First of all, I'd like to say that this semester in addition to writing different types of texts, we watched very interesting and useful video sessions about different topics connected with English. Also we read a lot of articles, created our own stories with such program as the Plot Generator. All of these tasks were very useful ,because we were practising our writing skils and developing ourselves. Moreover we paid a lot of attention to the thesis statement and how we should formulate it. All of this things are very important,because we should know how to express our thoughts and opinion in writing correctly.
One more thing that we were doing this semester, we discussed a lot of important topics in class, and our teacher always gave us the right to choose the themes,and it was very good.
I think it will be interesting to discuss topics connected with movies.actors and their life. Also we can discuss more serious topics, for example connected with ecology, politics, global warming and whatever. In my opinion every topic can be interesting if everybody will be involved in discussion.
To sum up, I want to say that course of Academic Writing is very useful,valuable and interesting, because it helps us to improve our language.
