Pros and Cons of Plastic Surgery
Plastic surgery - is a surgical specialty involving the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of the human body. It has its own advantages and disadvantages,so let's consider them.
Starting with the advantages , i can say that plastic surgery can help people to correct their shortcomings of face or body , or to eliminate scars after car accidents , fires , etc.
The second point is that plastic surgery helps people to look younger , for example facelift. There are a lot of women who do it.Technologies are developing and new methods of plastic surgery are appearing , so it becomes more painless. Beauty and youth are the most significant advantages of plastic surgery , because people always want to look beautiful and feel themselves more confident.
Nevertheless there are some disadvantages of plastic surgery. First of all is stress. Many people fall into severe depression after the operation. Aging affects all human organs. Doing plastic surgery, a person rejuvenates himself externally , but internally can not stop the aging process. In addition, the scars can also strike a blow to the psyche.
The second disadvantage is the complications after plastic surgery. Before you decide to do plastic surgery, you need to think carefully, because you are going to take a big risk. As example , after the correction of wrinkles, hematomas may appear, and there is a possibility of loss of skin sensitivity. Such a plastic procedure as liposuction-often leads to a fat embolism. Silicone can cause breast cancer. Nose surgery can lead to deformation and swelling of the tip of the nose.
In conclusion i want to say that i respect all of the opinions about plastic surgery. It has advantages and disadvantages, and people make decision by themselves, it's their choice to do an operation or not. Anyway, plastic surgery should be applied to those people who had an injury after a car accidents,or scars. The others need to learn to appreciate their nature beauty and don't try to look like someone else.

ОтветитьУдалитьI'm sorry but parts of your essay are plagiarised. It starts with the definition, which you have taken from Wikipedia. It took me just a couple of seconds to find it out. Certainly, you know that you need to add a reference in order not to plagiarise, don't you?
Actually, as I was reading your essay further I discovered that other parts of it are copied from the resources you have used to write your essay:

So, unfortunately, I cannot give you a passing grade for your essay. Get in touch with me when/if you see my comment before the next class for us to clarify the situation.
Things to consider:
The thesis statement is too general; you need to list the points that will be discussed in your
essay
Plastic surgery - is a surgical specialty: you do not need this punctuation mark between the subject and the verb. You've used a hypen, which when necessary is used in 2-word combinations, not in complex sentences. If necessary, the dash is used then. There is a very good explanation of how it is used in Grammarly, it's a blog about all things connected with different aspects of grammar and writing. Are you familiar with it? If no, here is a link to the article about dash: https://www.grammarly.com/blog/dash/
First of all is stress > the first of them is stress: your version is not quite right. Your version uses the Russian sentence pattern: it's one of the examples of language interference, i.e., the influence of your mother tongue on how you formulate your ideas in another language
Doing plastic surgery > performing: "do" is not used in this case
Sp: "can not" is spelt as 1 word > cannot
"As example": it's incorrect > to give you just one example
